What they say
'...we hire quality tribute acts every year for our student balls and the Kins of Leon have been the best by a long long way’
President of University of Durham Students Union Marc Allante
'As good as the real deal!' - Jessica Elkin (Hild Bede Treasurer)
'Many thanks for your help with booking the Kins Of Leon. Their performance was phenomenal – the tent was packed with everyone singing along. The band were also a pleasure to work with' Andy Acred, Cambridge University
...Driving guitars and strong drums provoked a far more ‘rock’ atmosphere than the acts on previous days – a moshpit and headbanging session made the odd appearance. Recognition must go to frontman Tony Bowen, whose gritty vocals not only had strong likeness to his Kings of Leon counterpart, but were consistently strong and unfaltering through a tough set of songs. Hits such as Use Somebody and Supersoaker had the audience singing in unison, whilst the anthemic Sex on Fire drove home the authentic electric feeling of a rock festival - East Midlands Music
...much more than just a tribute to the Kings Of Leon - John Williams - Pembroke Castle
